Payment Policy

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
At checkout, we offer the following secure payment options:
– Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
– Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay (if available in your region)
– PayPal and region-specific methods (e.g., Klarna, iDEAL)
These options comply with Google Merchant Center policy requiring at least one conventional payment method during checkout and accessible payment choices from product to final purchase.
All transactions are processed via Shopify Payments or authorized third-party processors that meet PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. Frutiger Essentials does not store full payment data on our servers.
CURRENCY & CONVERSION
Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. The same currency must display consistently throughout your shopping experience—including product pages and checkout—to comply with Google’s checkout consistency guidelines.
Automatic currency conversion is applied at checkout, and you agree to pay the final USD equivalent your provider charges.
ORDER AUTHORIZATION & VERIFICATION
You must provide accurate, valid payment information when placing an order.
Frutiger Essentials reserves the right to cancel any order if payment cannot be verified, is declined, or appears suspicious. In case of cancellation, we will notify you via the contact details provided in your order.
FRAUD PREVENTION & CHARGEBACKS
We use transaction monitoring tools in line with Meta’s requirements for fraud detection in onsite checkout transactions.
In the event of chargebacks or payment disputes, we may temporarily suspend or terminate access to the Services after reasonable notice.
EU REGULATORY COMPLIANCE (PSD2 / SCA)
Customers from the EU/EEA may be required to complete Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) as mandated under PSD2, which may include steps like 3D Secure, biometrics, or two-factor authentication.
Please comply with any authentication prompts from your bank or payment provider during checkout.
REFUNDS, RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
All policies related to refunds, returns, or cancellations are addressed in our Refund Policy.
If eligible, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. It may take an additional 3–5 business days for the bank to reflect the refund in your account.
DATA PRIVACY & SECURITY
Payment transactions are secured and processed in compliance with PCI-DSS v4.0 standards.
Shopify acts as a data processor and handles data transfer and storage in accordance with its own privacy policy and legal obligations.
DELAYED OR FLAGGED TRANSACTIONS
If payment appears incomplete, invalid, or fraudulent, we may delay, suspend, or cancel your order at our discretion. You remain responsible for charges incurred prior to cancellation.
